Lord Dark Frog is a side-scrolling, grimdark, cozy, carrot gardening game where you play as the titular character whilst in retirement, tending to his carrot garden. Little does he know, he doesn't have much time left...

LDF Features

Side scrolling gardening! Control Lord Dark Frog in the garden. Buy, plant, grow, and harvest both carrots and tulips.

Keep healthy soil with your compost bin to increase yields.

Keep pests at bay by planting tulips between your carrots to attract pest eating ladybugs.

Donate crops to the kingdom via the donation box to keep Lord Dark Frog's happiness levels high.

Or sell your crops and stack that cash! It's up to you.

But be careful! Lord Dark Frog is old and aint the young frog he used to be. Every action takes stamina. He'll have to rest at the bench to recover. Over time, his max stamina will decrease. Lord Dark Frog gets it when the max stamina reaches zero. 

Controls

W - Move Left

D - Move Right

Spacebar - Jump(when not holding items)

E - Action button

The action button will perform different actions depending on what LDF is standing in front of as well as what he is holding.

Stamina System - Actions use stamina and LDF will need to rest to recover it. His max stamina will also decrease over time. When it reaches zero, he will die.

Sit at the bench to regain stamina.

LDF drops everything and falls asleep if you run out of stamina. He will regain stamina as he sleeps. Try not to sleep near items as there is a bug when waking up. Fix coming soon!

Donation Box - Donate items to your kingdom to increase your happiness levels.

Compost Bin - Compost carrots, tulips, and withered plants to increase your soil health. Higher soil health levels increase yields when harvesting.

Planter Boxes - Place seeds you buy from the vendors here. At a certain point they will become harvestable. Walk near the planter to spawn the harvest. The plants will wither if left in the planter box for too long.

Vendors - Buy seeds from the vendors. Bring the vendors your carrots or tulips and use the action button to sell them for coins.

Find the right balance of money, soil health and happiness.
